Gifts

Please know that gifts are not at all expected! We consider your presence at the wedding to be a precious and generous gift in itself.

If you feel you must give a material gift, here are some options we would enjoy:

• A single unique Christmas ornament for our future family Christmas tree, that reflects you and/or your family somehow. Most of our current ornaments are generic, and we would love to replace them with an eclectic mix of sentimental ornaments, and to be especially reminded of you every Christmas.
• In a similar spirit: a single unique mug, that reflects you and/or your family somehow. We love when a kitchen has an eclectic mug collection, and we don’t yet have this. Also, if you ever visit us in our home, you can enjoy a cozy beverage in your own special mug!
• A cash gift to help us offer travel subsidies to our loved ones who are traveling far to attend the wedding. (Because people’s presence is the gift we desire most!) Any leftover funds would go toward future home furnishings or childcare items (should we be so blessed).

Christmas ornaments and mugs can be either brought to the wedding or shipped to our home in California (see the return address on your invitation envelope).
